Authorities in Lawrence County search for a man wanted for manufacturing methamp


Authorities in Lawrence County are searching for a man wanted for manufacturing methamphetamine. Arrest warrants have been issued for Benjamen Wesley Wayne after authorities found remains from a meth lab at his residence at 80 Five Points Road, Five Points, Tenn., which is located between Loretto and Lawrenceburg. Officials found numerous components used in the manufacturing process in the yard, carport and trash during their search. Investigators said Wayne is on state probation for manufacturing meth from a prior arrest that took place in September 2009. Anyone knowing Wayne’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Lawrence County, Tenn., Sheriff’s office at 931-762-3646.
